Present Professional, Protect the Participant, and Protect Yourself. Always, respect privacy and personal identifiers. Always, implement standard precautions that promote safety from infection; disinfect the area, handwashing techniques, and glove use. Always consider your professional demeanor.

Always be professional. Professionalism is defined as conducting oneself with responsibility, integrity, accountability, and excellence. It means communicating effectively and appropriately and always finding a way to be productive. A component of professionalism is also being well groomed and paying attention to professional attire, a 2014 study concluded that attire is an important factor that inspires patient confidence in healthcare practitioners and influences perceptions. Mobile Health Units or Mobile Clinics are not immune to these "first impressions", you are the face of your organization while in the field.

Understand infection control practices and standard precautions.
Understand processes for assuring and maintaining participant confidentiality.
Review professional behavior and dress.
