iPhones are very popular for content creation, and at the University of Missouri, and specifically at the Missouri School of Journalism, most students own an iPhone because they are known for their content creation capabilities.

iMovie is the video editing platform built into all iPhones, and it is a very intuitive and easy platform to use. Additionally, iMovie comes already loaded (and is a standard addition) on all iPhones, so it's simply a matter of tapping into the app and following very intuitive instructions to learn how to create movies on the platform and device.

I will walk you through video editing on iMovie below, but I would suggest playing with this feature a lot if you plan to regularly shoot and publish videos, as there are many capabilities (for instance, four channel audio capabilities) that we won't cover in this tutorial, but which might be useful if you decide to make video content creation and distribution a part of your media content strategy.
